Its not about me and It’s not about you

That is the hardest thing for most people to wrap their heads around . The fact that the world doesn’t revolve around you.

This universal truth can be applied to nearly everything we do in life. If someone cuts you off in traffic…. It’s not about you.  If a prospect doesn’t want to buy your widget…. It’s not about you.

But the most important thing to me is the reason why we need to be successful, it’s not about you.

Your financial independence is not about you, It’s about your family.

You financial independence is not about you, It’s about the people that will be blessed by your wealth.

Your financial independence is not about you, It’s about your country who needs you to succeed in order to grow.

Your financial independence is not about you. Period.

Through the past 3 years I have personally been battling with my own self. It’s as if I have become my own worst enemy. I am scared to succeed again.

I was the victim of super fast “success” I made hundreds of thousands of dollars in Real Estate before the age of 21. I thought I had arrived in life.

But then I started making very stupid decisions and I allowed some people to pretty much get over on me and that coupled with the Real Estate Crash, lead to me going from having my own house,

A BMW and money to live the life.

To homeless.

I felt like I was being punished and rightfully so for allowing money to be my master as opposed to God.

But now that is behind me for the most part minus some minor bills.

But the thoughts are still very much so in the forefront of my subconscious.

So with that said the only way to overcome is to succeed again.

I have to tell myself, I have already been successful, I have already done this before.

My current circumstances do not dictate my future and I can decide to be great.

I have to personally choose to be great.

Because it’s not about me.

I am doing the world a dis service if I don’t choose to be great.

Better than I was.

Period.

I have to go hard.

So yea I’m not rich at the time of the post.

So what.

I don’t have to pretend to be someone I’m not. Because the person I am becoming will speak for himself.

Period.
